There are some milestones that feel bigger than a date on the calendar.
Sognos' 10-year anniversary is one of them.
Earlier this year, we celebrated this milestone in Sydney with our Australia and New Zealand team, clients and partners. It was a proud moment for the business and a chance to recognise the relationships, trust and work that have shaped Sognos across the region.
In Ahmedabad, the celebration continued with our India team, their families and the people who have supported Sognos from the very start.
It was a deeply personal evening.
The room was full of warmth, pride and connection. Our India team looked incredibly sharp, and the strongest feeling in the room was the sense of Sognos Family. It was there in the way people welcomed each other, in the way families joined the celebration, and in the pride the team brought to the night.
That sense of Sognos Family is not something created for an event. It is part of the culture.
Over the past decade, the business has created a genuine sense of family among its staff. It shows in the way people support each other, take ownership of the work, and stay committed through the complex moments that sit behind real delivery.
A 10-year milestone is never built by one person, one office or one moment. It is built through belief, trust, long days, shared pressure, small wins, hard conversations and people who keep showing up for each other.
Our India team has played a significant role in that story.
Across delivery, product development, support, project work and problem solving, the team helps bring Sognos solutions to life every day. Much of this work happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across our clients, our projects and our wider team in Australia and New Zealand.
The Ahmedabad celebration was a chance to say thank you properly.
It was also a chance to recognise the families and early supporters who have stood beside the team and the business from the beginning. Their encouragement, patience and belief have helped create the foundation Sognos continues to build on today.
For Sognos, family is not just a word. The Sognos Family is evident in the way the organisation works, celebrates, supports its people and stays connected across countries.
